Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace Structures & Design

Asteroid P/2010 A2

A short bit about me

My name is Claudio I. Solano, and I am an M.S. student in Mechanical Engineering focused on advancing structural systems for next-gen spacecraft and off-world exploration.

I love design, structures, mechanisms, and machining for aerospace!

I have project and work experience in:

  • Designing subsystems to aerospace standards

  • Developing fluid components

  • Building linkage mechanisms

  • Conducting robotics research

  • Analyzing and machining structural parts

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and am currently completing my Master's in Mechanical Engineering as part of a 4+1 program!
