Claudio I. Solano
Mechanical Engineer – Structures, Design & Manufacturing for Aerospace and Tech

A short bit about me
My name is Claudio I. Solano, and I’m an M.S. student in Mechanical Engineering focused on advancing hardware for next-generation spacecraft and developing precision-engineered products that connect people more closely with technology.
I love design, propulsion, structures, mechanisms, and machining!
I have project and work experience in:
Extensive CNC machining and manufacturing practices
Designing subsystems to aerospace standards
Developing fluid components
Working on propulsion systems
Building linkage mechanisms
Conducting robotics research
Analyzing and machining structural parts
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and am currently completing my Master's in Mechanical Engineering as part of a 4+1 program!
